As a business owner and a mother of three active boys I’ve decided that as we move from 2008 into 2009 that I’m not going to worry about the blog posts I didn’t write while I was running my business, being taxi mum, washing mum, cleaning mum, homework mum, cooking mum and all those other things we do as mums.
Instead, I’m going to focus on the wonderful things in my life such as my customers that have continued to support my business and myself - thank you! My family and friends who have been supportive of my endeavours - thank you! My three boys that are all so different from each other, yet so amazingly supportive of each other. As I move into a new year, I’m going to spend some time reflecting on my personal and professional achievements.
2009 is a new year; a new beginning… there is a lot happening in 2009, the year of many possibilities.
My business coach, Nicole suggests I venture out into the online world and after reading about Site’s to Sell and Network In, over at Under the Loupe, Annette has provided me with some interesting sites to start my adventures.
I look forward to sharing with you my journey into the online world and with scrapbooking. I hope that you will be inspired to get creative and start or continue with scrapbooking.
I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hi Everyone, just wanted to check in and let you know I am back from my Annual Leave.
The family and I had a fantastic time. In my last post I mentioned I would be taking lots of pictures… I did and after deleting the ones I could, I have ended up with well over 500 photos!
Oh my goodness… how will I ever scrap all of these, I think I need to do some investigating on what others do with so many picture’s and get back to you.

I’ve been a very busy girl the last couple of weeks with parties, crops and orders but I still manged to make this off the page project.
I made it for a very dear friend of my Mum’s who recently turned 90. It’s one of the large Kaiser boxes and I decorated it with her favourite colours. She can use it as a ‘Memory Box’.

I’ve had some fantastic stock arrive this week - pop over to the online store to check out all the new arrivals.
One of my favourites would have to be the new Artisitic Expression 12×12 page overlays, so simple to use and available in six different designs. Just gorgeous!

This month I’m sponsoring a Blog Challenge over at Aussie Scrapbooking. It’s called ‘Little Things Blog Challenge‘ and based on the quote from my home page “It’s the little things that make a big life”. The challenge is to create a layout using the quote as your theme.
To find out more about the challenge visit the Aussie Scrapbooking Blog. I look forward to seeing your layouts. Good Luck!

Well as promised I wanted to keep you up to date with my new party plan venture and oh my goodness what an adventure it’s turned out to be. I am going full steam ahead doing up to three parties a week and booking more parties from there. All the feed back has been very positive, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that everything keeps going forward.

Sorry everyone, I have dropped the ball in the last few weeks, but I do have an excuse… {drum roll please}… I have just began Assential Scrapbooking Scrapbooking Supplies and Gift as a Party Plan Company.
As most of you know I open my shop around my family and therefore only open on a part-time basis. However, I decided that I had such a wonderful range of products and gifts that I really needed to get out and show more people what I’ve got.
With some hard work and planning I conducted my first Assential Scrapbooking party last Saturday, it was FANTASTIC. I really enjoyed showing our range of products to other people who I don’t usually have contact with and introducing non scrapbookers to the wonderful world of scrapbooking.
As I head into this new venture, I’ll try to keep you up-to-date, so make sure to come back and check out what I’m up to.
Happy Scrapbooking!

The last to items in our Starter Packs are Foam mounting squares which are a thick foam pad with double sided adhesive, quick to use for raised mounting with embelishments.
Sanding Discs create a very popular distressed look of wear and tear. Sanding can be achieved by just rubbing the material’s edges or surface to wear it away.
I really hope these little bit’s of information help you in making decisons of what to purchase in the lines of tools when your first getting started.

The third most important item in the starter pack is mounting squares, they are used to adhere a photograph, embellishment or other item to another piece of paper. 3L Click ‘n Stick Mounting Squares come in easy to use packs of 500.
